In an effort to support and promote local chapters and regional events, the annual Women In Healthcare LeadHERship Summit has been moved to an every-other-year event.

Who should attend?
Women from all chapters of Women In Healthcare are invited to band together from across the country for this can't-miss event.

What is the Lead HER ship Summit?
The Women In Healthcare LeadHERship Summit is hosted by the national organization. All chapters come together for 2.5 days of networking, education, growth, and mentorship.

When will it be?
November 4-6, 2026

Where will it be?
Houston, Texas! We’ll be gathering at the iconic Hotel ZaZa Museum District, a boutique hotel known for its bold style and luxurious comfort. Nestled in the heart of Houston’s cultural corridor, this location offers the perfect blend of sophistication and local flavor.

Attendees will enjoy easy access to some of Houston’s top attractions, including:
• The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston – one of the largest art museums in the country.

Cheri Young leads Forever Young Wealth Management in Brighton, MI.  She advises clients on financial planning tax and retirement planning with a teaching flair that is second to none.

Sandra D. Adams, CFP®

Sandra D. Adams, CFP® is a Lead Financial Planner and Partner with Center for Financial Planning, Inc. ®. A 1992 graduate of Eastern Michigan University, she has worked in the financial services industry since 1996. She collaborates with individuals and families to create customized and actionable financial plans that can be implemented easily by breaking them into simple steps (and with the assistance of a professional partner). Sandy holds a master’s degree in Gerontology and specializes in elder care planning, allowing her to work with entire generations of families: older adults, their children, and grandchildren. Sandy is also trained to work with those going through any kind of stressful life and/or money transition, including those dealing with a death of a spouse, loss of a spouse due to divorce, loss or change of job, change of career, sale of a business, generational wealth transfers, etc.

Sandy has served three terms on the FPA of Michigan board, serving as Board President for three terms. She currently serves as the Board Chair for the Wayne State University Board of Visitors and serves on the BOV’s Endowment Committee, is Board Chair for the non-profit On the Wings of Angels and serves on the board for Universal Dementia Caregivers. She is a frequent speaker for the MICPA and other public and professional groups on elder care and retirement plan and financial planning topics. Sandy is frequently quoted in professional publications, has contributed as a writer to articles in the Journal for Financial Planning and Practical Compliance and Risk Management, and is currently a regular contributing writer to TheStreet.com/Retirement Daily

Janet Pasco

Janet Pasco is the Market President of Horizon Bank in Metro Detroit. She joined Horizon Bank in 2018 to launch a new office for the bank located in Troy. She has spent her career in banking serving in a variety of roles in commercial banking and has loved working with local business owners. Her commitment to the community is also demonstrated by her volunteer roles. She is \ the President of Women in Healthcare, Michigan, Board Member  of Michigan Municipal League Foundation and serves on the Advisory Board of On the Wings of Angels.
