The Women in Healthcare North Carolina Chapter (WIH) is organizing a roundtable discussion to examine the impact of Helene on healthcare systems in Western North Carolina. This session will focus on Crisis Management, Lessons Learned, and Resiliency—highlighting best practices that emerged from the response. Healthcare leaders recognize the critical need for this discussion to enhance preparedness, improve crisis response, and strengthen resilience. During the crisis, multiple healthcare systems collaborated with one shared priority: ensuring patient care and safety. This roundtable will provide a platform for industry leaders to exchange insights, share strategies, and reinforce the importance of collective action in times of crisis.
