Women in Healthcare – Carolinas Chapter, invites you to an engaging panel discussion exploring the powerful intersection of art, healing, and healthcare environments hosted by Little Diversified Architectural Consulting.

As healthcare systems continue to prioritize patient experience, staff well-being, and human-centered design, intentional art programs have emerged as a meaningful and transformative tool. This conversation will highlight how creative engagement supports patients, families, caregivers, and care teams—particularly within pediatric and acute care settings—and how interdisciplinary collaboration between clinicians, designers, artists, and administrators brings these programs to life.
Panelists from leading healthcare organizations will share insights on program development, cross-functional partnerships, measurable and anecdotal impacts, and the future role of art in shaping healing environments.

Event Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the role of art in healing environments and its impact on patient experience, family support, staff well-being, and care delivery.
  • Explore best practices for developing and scaling health care art programs, including funding models, governance, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Identify future opportunities for integrating art more intentionally into health care environments and organizational culture.
