In healthcare, expertise is expected. Influence is earned.

This interactive session is designed for women leaders who are ready to move beyond being highly competent — to being deeply impactful. Together, we will demystify what executive presence actually is (and what it is not), and explore how it shapes credibility, visibility, and advancement in complex healthcare environments. Our 1-hr workshop designed to bridge the gap between your current performance and your future leadership potential . Based on the authoritative research of Sylvia Ann Hewlett, PhD , this session transforms the abstract concept of "presence" into actionable professional growth.

Participants will learn how to translate subject-matter expertise into influence in the room, in high-stakes conversations, and across interdisciplinary teams. We will break executive presence down into practical, accessible components — including communication, composure, and gravitas — and provide tools you can begin using immediately.

This workshop dives deep into the three critical pillars of leadership identified in your self-assessment:

  • Gravitas: Master the art of remaining calm under pressure, projecting confidence, and building the "decisiveness" that earns the trust of senior stakeholders.

  • Communication: Refine your ability to speak with intention, align your non-verbal cues, and tailor your message to influence clinical, administrative, and executive audiences.

  • Appearance: Learn to use your professional image as a strategic tool that signals your readiness for greater responsibility while remaining authentic to who you are.

You will leave with:
• A clear understanding of executive presence
• Insight into how your expertise is currently perceived
• Concrete strategies you can apply this week to strengthen your influence

Because in today’s healthcare landscape, your knowledge matters — but your presence determines whether it moves the room.
Whether you are looking to recover more quickly from setbacks or find the courage to express dissenting views respectfully, this workshop provides the tools to ensure your "signal" as a leader is clear, credible, and compelling.
